REQUIREMENTS: A rental contract will be provided to sign online.  The booking is not secure until the rental deposit and signed contract has been recieved.  A 50% rent deposit is required.  The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and the security deposit is due 14 days before arrival.  No access will be given until all documents and payments are received.

 

Minimum renter age is 25.  Photo ID will be required.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If a guest cancels the reservation, the initial deposit minus a $50 administrative charge will be refunded ONLY if premises are re-rented by the landlord for the same period at same rental amount. If re-rented for lesser amount, the difference between this lease rent and the lesser re-rent shall not be refunded. Terms are subject to change.

FAQ'S

Why do you require a photo ID?

Fraud is rampant nowadays, and even the most secure of booking platforms can fall prey to fraudsters.  These booking platforms encourage hosts to do their own due diligence with each tenant to ensure we know who we are allowing to stay in our home.  Even if you are booking with us directly, we still need verification that you are who you say you are. 

Why do you require that an official lease is signed?  This is just a vacation.

We understand that in the age of Airbnb, lots of hosts have opened up their rooms and homes to total strangers without any sort of written agreement and this may seem like the norm to some of our guests, although Airbnb encourages the use of rental agreements. We realize that it is a serious liability to allow people to stay in our homes and we find it is best for both parties if there is a clear understanding of the terms.  We have always treated our vacation rentals professionally and as a business and our vacation lease protects both parties.

Are these properties in Palm Springs?

While we are in the Palm Springs general area, we are in a very remote part of Desert Hot Springs about 12 miles direct north of Palm Springs.  Our location is perfect for those looking for a quiet getaway, but with access to all that Palm Springs has to offer.  We are also about 20-30 min. from Coachella and Joshua Tree.

Are these properties in Sky Valley?  And why should I rent a Pod instead of one of their units?

Yes these are in Sky Valley which means that you get to enjoy all of the amenities of the resort which includes the mineral hot springs baths and jacuzzis, tennis courts, pickle ball, golf and so much more without the pressure of going to a sales presentation.  There are activities and classes available through the community center.  What sets us apart is that our units are specially designed by Los Angeles designer, Marilynn Taylor.  They are thoughtfully appointed, and all linens are provided including pool towels.  We also offer high speed internet in each of our units, and have found the internet in the SV units to be incredibly slow and unusable at times.  We also have Roku on all of our TV's providing you with unlimited viewing options.  Plus, you get the individual attention from us that you deserve.
